The Ramla Mayor Mr. Yoel Lavi
A word from the mayor...

Dear surfer

Ramla, the regional city of the Central Region, attracts newcomers,
where Jews and Arabs live together in harmony.

During recent years, while undergoing massive changes to infrastructure, city appeal,
playgrounds, gardening, basketball courts, soccer fields, e.t.c, the city has accepted
18000 imigrants into modern neighborhoods that enjoy lively social and cultural activities.

Many resources are set aside in favor of enhancing education in Ramla.
The schools in the city are equipped with computers, multimedia classes, science labs
and fast internet connections to the benefit of all.

Ramla is in the process of a positive change and within the next few years
the area is expected to greatly expand to offer many jobs and massive employment.
Paving of circular roads around this area and other main routes such as "The Israel Divider"
and road 431 that will connect between west Rishon-Letzion and the city of Modiin are also
planned.

The geographical location, additional roads, railroad and the establishment of the
second largest employment area in Israel, all promise a well future to Ramlas financial and organizational status and to the quality of life for its residents.

Respectfully,
Yoel Lavi
