The income department is responsible for collecting payments to the local authority including property tax, enhancement levis, building fees, development levis, education, waste fees, sign fees, parking tickets, rent and more.
Income department responsibilities
- Customer service for the fields of payment collection
- Collection of water and sewage fees and providing customer service for the Ramla water corporation (R.W.C)
- Enforcement of collection against payment insubordinates
- Evaluating property tax assessments and matching them to the factual situation.
- Taking care of disagreements and appeals regarding property tax
- Taking care of property tax discounts to eligible residents
- Taking care of authorizations for the land registry bureau.

Important Information:
- Payments can be made via credit card using the phone number below and online on the municipality's website at address: www.ramla.muni.il
- Failure to pay on time will result in additional interest and attachments in accordance with the local authorities' act, at a rate of 0.75% per month, linked to the price index.
- Payments through standing order directly to the bank account or by credit card will have 2% discount.
- Enforcement of collection against payment insubordinates will be done by administrative and legal collection processes. Charges of enforcement action will be added to the debt. Pay on time – and avoid fines and discomfort!
